Melody of words

Play the game below and learn how to make a song.

Age group: 8+

 Instructions:  The game includes 3 parts:
  • Syllables:
1- Count the syllables
2- Click on the right answer







  • Rhythm:
1- Click on the vocal icon to listen to the lyrics 
2- Click on the sound icon to listen to the drum sound then compare both sounds produced by the sound and vocal icons
3- Click on the stick over the drum to play the sound and check the right rhythm before answering
4- Click TRUE if the 2 sounds produced match each other, else click FALSE




  • Pitch:
            1- Click on the vocal icon to listen to the lyrics
  2- Click on the sound icon to listen to the piano sound then compare both sounds produced by the sound and vocal icons
  3- Click on the colored keys of the piano to check the related pitch
  4- Click TRUE if the 2 sounds produced match each other, else click FALSE






Objectives:
  • Teaching how to turn words into song and help students memorize their lessons
  • Showing that powerpoint is a powerful tool more than just simple presentations (the game below is converted from powerpoint to flash)
